Getting To El Karama

We are approximately four hour's drive north west of Nairobi. Four wheel drives are recommended although the road is paved to within ten km of our boundary.
 
A map can be seen below from the nearest town Nanyuki [one hour drive]. Alternatively, maps can be picked up at Settler's Store Shop in Nanyuki.
 
There is a small [800 m] airstrip at El Karama for private charter. These can be organised through Tropic Air Kenya, Nanyuki www.tropicairkenya.com. Alternatively, there is a civilian airstrip at Nanyuki with affordable scheduled flights daily from Nairobi, Wilson Airport. Car hire can be organized at El Karama or even from Nairobi with our family car hire company [www.cruisingcruisers.com].
